That’s a leap, highly doubt the rest of the would nuke russia over ukraine. India, pakistan, israel, NK for sure wouldnt not give a single fuck.

100k a year in most EU countries is considered wealthy, and we have the highest taxes in the world.

We also generally have higher food/gas prices than anywhere else, so probably it’s more related to spending habits in the US. Eating out should be a once per month thing not three times per day.

That being said, we also got free healthcare and education so probably makes a huge difference.

A single nuke would be worse for ukraine, russia would start using nukes immediately. Ukraine can do very little to russia with one nuke and russia would want to destroy ukraine before they become an actual nuclear threat to russia.

So one nuke would pretty much be suicide for ukraine. They’d need at the very least, a couple of dozen nukes.

Generally yield and intention difference, strategic takes out cities, tactical takes out factories, military bases and compounds.

Russia has the support of China, otherwise they would’ve lost already, so the answer to your question is china via russia. Because we are competitors, it makes sense for them to have russia bleed us economically.

It’s actually not the worst idea, 5% is a lot, way more than needed, but it’s pretty decent to play catch up.

EU states are pretty far behind with their militaries, pumping it to 5% for a few years and dropping it back to 2-3% when we’re caught up with other superpowers seems like a good idea.

Well thats exactly what you’d get by not investing in defence, which is a deterrent for war.

So defence isn’t worth investing in? Try telling that to eastern europe.
