That's great! Idk if there's a way to automatically sync the garmin with it, but I use Fitotracker, and app on my smartphone, and it works great! If you dont feel like selfhosting your own instance you can use mine, workouts.estebiu.com. But again, don't trust strangers on the internet.

Docker! Everything is docker compose on my system. If I want to move the containers, I copy the directory on the new machine, and ta-da! Its done

I've bought two nodes and attached some gps i had lying around, works pretty good for a proof of concept. It's kinda slow to update the positions tho, but the biggest drawback is that yoy need to have the app open to see anything because the oled screens are very very unreadable under the direct sun.
