You keep saying mass-shot and it makes me think you're talking about using buckshot or birdshot in a shotgun.

Can't imagine living in a constant fear of being caught in a mass-shot.

We don't though. If you live near one, you might be a bit spooked for a few weeks or months, but eventually, it goes away and you stop thinking about it.

They do hate when Uber does it, but they already let the taxi companies with regulations die, so they don't have a choice if they want that type of service.

To me, it's not the AI data that's the issue. It's reddit, effectively, turning off all of the API, then selling the data they aren't producing themselves. I think if any instance owner told their users they were going to start selling things that were posted to their instance, their users would find other places in the fediverse to set up shop.

At least we didn't call it Whitewatergate.

Well, I hate pineapple and putting it into things just kind of ruins the thing you're adding it to anyway, so there's that.

Okay, I'm trying to understand your argument here. Are you saying that pitbulls are being racially profiled and that information from other dogs aren't being collected or that bites of the same severity by other dogs aren't being correctly gathered or are bring suppressed? And, if so, what are the factors that should be taken into account when discussing dog bites or dog aggression?

I hate mesh chairs. They're always freezing and never have enough support.

I have two ergoCentric Executive chairs, one in my office that work purchased after having me try out chairs and one at home that I bought myself because that chair is fucking comfy as hell. Fabric, padded, and comfy.

A nontrivial number of people are more like you, who want this specific music to be played and nothing more. But that perspective, at least from what I've seen, is not held by the majority of users. So we get random trash thrown in with our personally curated lists of songs and albums.

I've never had Spotify put anything into my curated playlists. They only play the music on the playlist.

Honestly, this is the reaction of a child. "I don't agree with the system so I'm going to take my toys and go home, who cares who it hurts, even if it hurts me."

How? They taste nothing alike and have completely different consistency.

I don't think we have enough nuance in our politics to have that as more than an idyllic dream.
