My only issue so far is links to other instances open in my browser instead of in Jerboa.

We got an influx of moths in CO with all the rain we've gotten in the last month or so
Y'all can have them. Too many moths here right now.
I can't imagine the Vision Pro will stay $3500. I fully expect them to release Apple Vision (non pro) for a significantly cheaper price down the line. That product will most likely see more adoption.
I'm sitting on a hand-me-down Intel server with a 24 core CPU, 96gb of RAM, and a combined 13.5TB of storage space.
Currently hosting:
Redundant pi-holes - DNS/Adblock
Plex - Streaming service 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
Uptime Kuma - uptime tracker
Cloudflare proxy - secured external access to my environment sans VPN. It's set up with session tokens and 2fa via email. I'd like to lock this down further but I'm using the free option right now.
Ubiquiti wireless controller - I also have a hand-me-down AP, and I'm using it to improve wireless signal in my house.
I'd love some recommendations for different things to host too. I don't think a Lemmy instance is in the cards for me ATM though.
So because Lemmy is federated, individuals can host their own servers and create communities on them.
Obviously you've already joined one and made an account. Now you should be able to see different communities if you try to browse /all.
You can sub to them the same way you could sub to individual subreddits.
I'm in this picture and I don't like it

Couldn't help but notice your username.
Any Cosmere communities over here yet? I haven't seen anything from 17s or elsewhere.
Journey before destination, Radiant.
Unfortunately with the current structure of things, that's probably what will have to happen for a bit.
Lemmy is decentralized and federated and there are pros and cons to that system. One of those is that users expect a completely free experience. However, I have a server at home, but I have no way of scaling it. So despite there being a community I'd love to spin up, I can't because I have no way of scaling it.
Most people are going to have to go through Cloud providers for that, which can get pricey.
Shout-out to the 10+ ad test that yt did a few months ago
