You know full well this wouldn’t have happened if this was any other vigil not for black or brown people. Specifically not Palestine as well.

Yep. The pro-Israel bias of those in power in the U.S. is absolutely disgusting. A vigil for other groups would have been no problem.

This seems like it should be more of a "write-up" type of offense, rather than skipping straight to terminating employment. This is a vigil, not a protest. Microsoft: "how dare you mourn those killed by a genocidal regime."

BTW - what is everyone's favorite non-MS suite of office programs? I've been using Only Office, but curious what others think.

“claim to be pro life, but take the drug because rules don’t apply to me.”

This is 100% how it actually plays out.

I don't like her music, but that's just music preferences and not a reflection on her. I have no issues with her as a human being.

I think some of it may be the generic "billionaires are bad." But there are many, many better examples to choose from. She is just a bigger name, more well known than many of them.

One of these people is not like the others

It's like these protesters are striking a real nerve on this particular topic.

This is seriously one of the best takes I've seen on this situation. Most people seem to get hung up on this idea of there always being a "hero" and "villain". Not every situation has a hero.

Video games are probably thought of more as "tech" rather than "culture." And obsolescence is a part of tech.

I don't agree with it, but that is what I think their view on it is.

How long before these sickos declare prima nocta

I've only ever seen one side do this

Due to the way office buildings are configured, they'd need to be converted to some sort of communal living (think college dorms). It seems feasible in theory, but it would have a very limited audience and would be a difficult living situation for most people.

Converting to individual units would require extensive retrofits and renovations.
