What, exactly, should I be proud of?

A nation that is moving backwards on human rights, increasing wealth inequality, and got really "mask off" about supporting genocide. A nation that is inherently dysfunctional and wreathed in corruption.

Even if he did it, what would prevent it from being removed once he's out of office?

Someone call the "whaaambulance" for Festerman.

We need to start banding together and voting these pro-genocide politicians out of office.

Oh, AIPAC supports you? Enjoy getting primaried. Watching their heads spin when Cuomo lost to Mamdani was fucking gold.

They are engaging in an absolutely ridiculous campaign of gaslighting. It's so outlandish and over-the-top that it would actually be hilarious if it was on a lighter subject matter rather than genocide, terrorism, and a litany of war crimes.

Yeah, the "appeal to nature" fallacy that Musk is using is really dangerous. I want the best tools that are practical for the job, since this has actual life and death consequences. A mix of sensors that work together and covers each others limitations.

Netanyahu says it's antisemitic

Learn a new trick, fuckface. This one doesn't work anymore. People are going to start responding to accusations like this with "so what?" because the word has been watered down to such a ridiculous degree that it is no longer meaningful.

And that's really dangerous because it provides cover for actual antisemitism against Jewish people.

Israel is a democracy with a far-right government,

IOW - people actually fucking voted for this. That's even worse, since that means that the general populace shares greater culpability.

Prepare to be disappointed.

Not only that, but "They don't know what the fuck they're doing."

I think this last year or so has been a turning point though. AIPAC-funding is starting to become a toxic asset, particularly from the perspective of younger voters.

Not my words, but quoting a comment I saw elsewhere:

Your saying this is a perfect demonstration of the centrist dems not learning anything from losing the last election. No more genocide = no more zionists. Either the dems kick AIPAC dominance out of the party or the democratic party ceases to exist. Thats the choice for centrists. The dems arent winning another election otherwise. They cant win without the left and the left wont accept genocide.

We’ll ride this right into extinction if we have to. Try us.

And I'm starting to see more of this laid out in plain language. Younger voters might have lower turnout, but they are the future voters. And if I was a betting man, they'll come out to vote for Zohran Mamdani.

I live in one of the better states, and it still has a higher incarceration rate than many of those "shithole" places that our president likes to talk about.
