Reproduction is an inefficient way to transmit ideas. The $300K and countless hours spent to raise even a single child could reach a much wider audience if put towards education, outreach, etc

I'm guessing, by the way that they responded, that they do not intend to have children. Thus their children won't have to deal with a higher tax burden since they simply won't exist.
