The entire stock market is basically a ponzi scheme.

Push pensions, 401k, 529, HSA money into one spot and then rug the whole market every few years.

People, at least Americans, today aren't capable of it for multiple reasons, most of them systemic and intentional.

Decades of cuts to education and the social fabric have rendered most of the populace too ignorant about everything for giving them a say being a good idea.

Like term limits. How many people would vote for term limits without doing any research to find out they basically always make things worse because they keep out the people that want to spend their lives in faithful public service while there are no shortage of stooges corporations can push through.

So, you have the third of the country that voted for fascism. Pretty bad...

But then you have the other third that's convinced voting for Democrats that spent 50 years empowering fascism will save them.

Then you have the third that's completely disengaged because they don't care.

Direct democracy can't work as long as people believe capitalism serves anything other than the ruling class.

I work 4x10 wfh and I'm more productive than the people that go into the office despite spending no less than half the day playing videogames.

I always keep in mind the first doctor to advocate washing hands after handling corpses was laughed out of medicine and died alone in an asylum ironically enough from sepsis.

To that point, the vast majority of research on nutrition is done on the presumption carbohydrates should be the foundation of our diet. Even "low" carb diet studies with have 30% of the calories coming from simple carbs. Oddly enough, the human body works much differently and much better when you don't give it -any- sugar: https://youtu.be/cST99piL71E

I can expand, but briefly, sugar acts like a sandblaster through your heart and shreds the endothelium (the finger-things that move things in and out of the bloodstream). LDL is a repair van that drives around with cholesterol and saturated fat to repair the plaques. (HDL brings empty LDL back to the liver) The entire logic of blaming cholesterol for heart disease is like blaming bandaids for stab wounds. Doctors say eat less fat and more "healthy whole grains" (carbs) and the liver makes more cholesterol. Doctor sees cholesterol is still high because the body needs it and prescribes statins which impair production. This leads to nerve pain because it's what literally every nerve in the body is insulated with.

The problems with cholesterol stem from it sitting in the bloodstream and glycating due to prolonged sugar exposure. Sugar staying in the bloodstream is basically ketoacidosis, so clearing sugar is a priority that results in LDL gumming up and going bad, essentially.

I can expand on this, but basically the human body needs predominantly fat with some protein and actually zero carbs.

I hope this is a bot account or something because this is sincerely one of the most pathetic things I've ever read. I've seen barnacles with more purpose in life than this.

But you get to pick what color your collar is!

How many people hated the ACA for undermining their freedom to use solely who their employer allowed them to?

How many big, strong men get their feelings hurt when ANYONE tells them not to do things (that are dangerous to themselves and/or illegal) but at the same time, is absolutely devastated when they can't dictate how others act?

"Your right to swing your fist ends where my face begins" used to be a thing. Now, stopping a conservative from genocide is violating their freedoms.

It's a circus of absurdity fueled by decades of rewarding blind selfishness and cuts to education.

Moron with history of fucking shit up fucks shit up. No one stops him. Some applaud. Start the wood chipper.

It'll be filed away next to the Panama papers and why JFK was killed.

There's an ever growing chance shit like this just functions as pressure release psyops because it makes people feel accomplished while doing fuck all as everyone buys more the day before or the day after.

What people -don't want to- understand is that for it to hurt the corporations, it's got to hurt all of us. Either we give up things entirely like streaming and luxury goods or we do a general strike that costs millions of people their jobs or prompts a fascist crackdown.

The only good ways out of this spot were decades ago. Every path forward is miles of broken glass because of how propagandized a majority of this country is. Everyone wants to blame Trump or Republicans, but Democrats have spent at least 30 years with Clinton's 3rd way dems (gay tolerant Reaganites) pushing the Overton window right.

http://politicalcompass.org/uselection2016

Hilary's policy was assessed as farther right than Trump's. Obama basically handed the Heritage Foundation everything they wanted.

These bullshit one day strikes aren't going to save us and neither are the Democrats simply because if they were interested in preserving democracy, they wouldn't have been slow walking us right for decades.

As someone that's lived on the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers, I would say it's more like see if the water is toxic before you eat the fish. Assuming the fish must be good is asking for problems but it sounds like you just might enjoy diarrhea.

Several points.

One, look over my post history and you'll see I'm not a fan of the Democrats because they're marginally less bad conservatives.

Two, like I give a fuck if reality hurts their feelings, but I'm not being elitist favoring my side. Anyone falling for the false dichotomy doesn't understand reality to the point they could form opinions that matter. Like anyone that favors term limits is automatically a gullible rube that hasn't looked into it at all. The majority of people rely on received opinions and specious reasoning for almost everything because actual consistent coherent thought is a learned still.

Three, I'm being objective and not judgemental, hence the links. There's hard data everyone is just fucking dumber largely due to Republican efforts to sabotage education being met half way by Democrats.

And four, look at the link about gerrymandering. They spent decades literally cheating. Capping the house at 435 in 191X also massively empowered conservatives. Then you have to look into the end of times accelerationists and evangelical dominionists... Lots of cheating, sabotaging education, and obvious racism in law enforcement ignored.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/fbi-white-supremacists-in-law-enforcement

Five, the term right wing comes from the French parliament that wanted to keep the monarchy in power. The founding fathers were college educated aristocracy that wouldn't have wanted white trash voting or owning guns (federalist paper... 27... Or 29?) and yet conservatives worship them.

The entire ecosystem is full of gullible assholes in authoritarian power structures where independent thought is punished.

They've always been garbage people.
