Yep, I agree with this take. As much as I feel social media is a detriment to the human species and especially children, I think it should be up to the parents to regulate that. We have more important things to spend our tax dollars on than endless regulation for problems which will continue to exist in any case.

The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Ultimate Collection - Douglas Adams
Just about done working my way back through this series. Another week or two and it'll be back on the shelf for a while. Such a fun journey to go through once in a while though.

The Way Of Kings - Brandon Sanderson
I'm within 100 pages of finishing this tome. This is a long book (and the sequel is longer!), but it's so good. I can't believe I haven't torn through Sanderson stuff sooner - between this series and the Mistborn series, he is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

A Spy Among Friends - Ben Macentyre
This is an interesting nonfiction about a British intelligence officer named Kim Philby who turned out to be a Soviet spy. It's pretty good so far.

So glad to see the Bobiverse mentioned here. I re-read these books every now and then, mainly when I need to be inspired to clean up my project queue. "High level project management" is my favorite description of that series. Dennis Taylor has got to be one of my favorite recent authors. Cheers!

The truth is that Anthony barely survived his last fight, and won by the split decision by a thin margin. I like Lionheart, but it might be time to take the gloves off soon.

Cool, but why though? Firefox + Mullvad VPN already ensures all the privacy I want and more.

It helps to separate the technology from the companies. We don't need Google, Amazon, or any other company to make use of network connected technology. It doesn't have to be internet-connected, either. You can have a completely automated home with no more risk of intrusion than a standard locked door already has from a well-placed boot.

Well this could be interesting if true. Separately they actually drive more traffic to UFC but with their powers combined they might be able to drive some real competition. I like it.

I just want to see Izzy spin it to fit another anime storyline if he loses again...
