Torrent galaxy rune release. However not seeing any issues? Malwarebytes scans coming up clean. No integritycheck folder in app data. No hidden process running when game running. 🤷‍♂️?

Hell yeah. I'm so excited for this.

Agreed. I tried using sync this morning and just ended up back on connect. There are a couple of things like how hidden posts work/scroll past that I prefer how connect handles them. Id say sync has ever so slightly more polish on the ui front? maybe? but im super happy with Connect. Great dev.

I haven't seen anything. My biggest issue with Rocksmith 2014 was I learned guitar reading tabs and could never follow RS as well as auto scrolling tabs.

I know Rocksmith+ has a tab layout that I tried in beta that worked pretty well. Won't pay a subscription for it though.

I spent some time experimenting with Sync today, but I found that I prefer using Connect for Lemmy. While I appreciate the cleaness of Sync, I don't enjoy seeing ads when there are alternative options available that are ad-free. As well as Connect handling hidden posts better. I may switch between the two services depending on my needs, but I'm more comfortable with Connect for now.

Is there not a way to quickly update "show read" account option from the app?

Nice. Got it installed and walking through settings. Seems nice so far. Not sure about ultra pricing though..

I suppose I should say "comparatively" in the sense trying to maintain my 1500-2000 irating lmao so I guess at the end of the day being able to adapt to changes, but more importantly having fun because I'm really not pushing the envelope with 1500 irating.

Beeper.com ? They have a selfhosted option. I'm using the non-self hosted as of today and it's been pretty great. Mainly sms bridge and discord bridge are what I have been using.

Yeah that's true. I'm probably overthinking that bit. Figure it's no different than hoping in a different car and getting back on pace. I guess my concern would be picking up bad habits in AC that are detrimental to how iRacing performs.

Cheers

Does anyone mainly play iRacing but frequent Assetto Corsa? Do you notice a re-learning curve when you go back to iRacing? Do you perform more poorly in iRacing after racing in AC? Not like im top tier that it would really matter, but im curious how different others feel ac/iRacing are to be playing both comparatively.

[–] Elegast@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

Yeah that's gotta be rough. Hes obviously a skilled driver. Hopefully someone from some series picks him up.

Hey all! Just had an amazing time jumping back into Assetto Corsa after watching the Belgium GP this weekend. Ran some laps with F1 cars around Spa, and the experience was incredible!

I'm running a couple different RSS and VRC Formula Hybrid F1 car mods.

The highlight was playing with the rain and experiencing the mind-blowing effects provided by CSP (Custom Shaders Patch). The simulated spray from the tires made the race so immersive, I couldn't get enough of it!

I can't wait for iRacing to finish their rain implementation, but for now, I'm more than happy to get my rainy fix in Assetto Corsa. Patience is key, and the experience is totally worth it! Happy racing!

Bonus question: does anyone concentrate mainly on iRacing but still play AC a lot? Curious how much of a relearn it'd take to go back and forth between the two. If it would really affect my performance in iRacing. Not like im told tier so I guess who cares really.

I recently decided to implement an old tablet into my sim rig for the purpose of utilizing it as an external dash.

After doing some research, I came about a program called "simhub" which allows for the simulation of various dash instruments.

I have been enjoying the setup of the external dash and find it to be a great addition to my sim rig.

The process of setting it up was relatively easy and I was able to quickly get it up and running.

A dark, imposing castle with weathered stone walls, rusty iron, and forbidding doors stands in a mysterious landscape. Inside, dimly lit rooms, flickering torches, and eerie shadows await. Treacherous stairs lead to strange objects, faded tapestries, and whispers. Danger looms, anticipation rises—something horrifying awaits.

Trapped in a shrinking room, fear consumed me. Every glance intensified the chilling sensation of being watched. Harsh fluorescent lights cast ominous shadows, amplifying my unease. I frantically moved, desperately seeking escape from an unknown threat. Claustrophobia tightened its grip, suffocating hope.

Describe an eerie image of a mountain landscape

An eerie image of a mountain landscape could be one where the sun is setting behind the mountains, casting long shadows across the valleys below. The sky may be painted with a palette of oranges, purples, and pinks as the light fades away into darkness. The peaks of the mountains are shrouded in mist, creating a sense of mystery and intrigue. The silence is broken only by the occasional howl of a wolf or the rustling of leaves in the wind. It's a scene that evokes a sense of solitude and isolation, making it feel like you're at the edge of the world.

Hey all, but I've been enjoying browsing "local" in some of my instances and I'm looking to join a more specific example and was curious if there are any heavy motorsports related.

F1, imsa, wec, anything. I'm already subscribed to a bunch of those communities as well. I guess I'd have that as a discovery-type mechanic.

Bonus points, English-speaking Netherlands-ish instance

cheers.

Ford showed the Mustang gt3 at Le Mans and has just debuted the Mustang GT4 at Spa

Hey all, I decided to try setting up matrix/synapse via cloudflare tunnels.

I was following this guide

http://192.168.1.2:8009/_matrix/static/ shows

It works! Synapse is running

as does https://matrix.example.com/_matrix/static/

https://matrix.example.com/.well-known/matrix/server

comes up with 404. Is anything ever truly *well* known?

and matrix/synapse container shows 401 unauthorized when trying to access public rooms

synapse.http.matrixfederationclient - 676 - INFO - POST-87644 - {POST-O-3} [matrix.org] Got response headers: 401 Unauthorized

federation tester is showing

Hosts

_dc-srv.959fd81029a5._matrix._tcp.matrix.example.com.
Addresses

Errors

SRV record target _dc-srv.959fd81029a5._matrix._tcp.matrix.example.com. is a CNAME record, which is forbidden (as per RFC2782)

can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm assuming this is still an issue with ./well-known or something.

cheers

Hey all, I almost have it setup and working.

Was able to login via element to my instance.

DNS/SRV setup It passed the federation test.

But I'm getting 401 unauthorized when I try and search for public rooms.

I kinda know where the issue is.

my set up is a little fucky due to my ISP blocking port 80. So I have an aws ec2 instance setup with a tunnel to my home-sever as well as a ngnix proxy manager setup to point to said home-server. Then I have the home-sever running matrix/synapse behind ngnix proxy manager.

Example.com/.well-known/matrix/server comes up with 404

Example.com/_matrix/static/ works

So I just have to narrow it down a little bit.

The main reason I wanted to setup matrix was I was super interested in the android sms bridge, but after looking through the setup process it seems like a lot too. Not sure if anyone has seen any easier guide than the main doc.

I have 80 and 443 forwarded on AWS, I believe I'd have to forward 8448 as well...? Still looking into that bit.

Also, any better communities I could reach out to?

Cheers.
