First time I tried HZD I didn't like it either. Found the 1st hour or so extremely boring.

The 2nd time however I really liked it.

You have to change the default listing in the web UI, then sign out of jerboa and log back in

I use Komga, and for my tablet use Tachiyomi + komga plugin (there's also a plug-in for kavita), I find it's a better experience than using an OPDS reader

Nginx, more specifically lsio's SWAG container. I like using it because of it's flexibility, relative ease of use and integration with authelia/authentik

TilVids has pretty decent content

That's less likely imo, blocking a proxy is easier than many scrappers

Having tried both, I think matrix apps are a bit easier to use. You can migrate your encryption keys around and join chats from new apps without having to deal with signatures.

Also, maybe the "wow, a new app!" factor helped a lot
