Ukraine has very few fighter jets, and won't receive new ones from Western countries for several more months.

Isn't it looking like mid 2024? No one in the US wants to see a bunch of F16s demolished by Russian antiair

What does that look like? A dissolution of the russian federation, complete Russian disarmament, ane the imprissonment of Vladimir Putin would stop this. Why isn't Russia offering that? Why aren't you suggesting that?

Let's entertain this bit seriously - why wouldn't Russia nuke Ukraine, the US and the UK instead of (or before) easing to exist as a country?

for this we will strive for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine,” Putin said during an address

The IAEA website is a bit odd - https://www.iaea.org/topics/response/fukushima-daiichi-nuclear-accident/fukushima-daiichi-alps-treated-water-discharge/tepco-data

There are three counts per second indicators - the sea intake is 7.9 CPS, the treated water transfer line is 5.5 CPS and the discharge is 5 CPS. How do you end up with 5 CPS when both sources are higher?

Also I'm just not super convinced that releasing 15300 m3 of water (or 15 million litres) with 206 bql/litre an hour will have no effect (3 billion bql an hour).

Capabilities:

  • extracting money from DoD,
  • proving rain and fog remain barriers to effective laser defences

Probably sensible to realise they don't want to be the next Ukraine either, given just enough weapons and support to bleed America's enemies while suffering massive losses

I think the US has deployed a ship based demonstrator laser

But nothing compares to the Reagan era insanity of a nuclear-explosion driven space x-ray laser

They created ISIS by running guns from Libya and supporting the anti-Assad groups, and knew that would be the outcome too (obviously not called ISIS, but a cross border fundamentalist caliphate-proposing group)

Apparently they trained on a compound that had chain link fences instead of 12 foot walls so the pilot just went into per training and crashed the fucking Black Hawk lol

Obama was in the situation room when he happened, the Rock tweeted a minute before one of their Chief of Staffs and after the administration had committed to the public plan
