No, Baloo, Paddington, Winnie the Pooh, and Yogi know bearly. Average people barely know.

If you were only gaming I'd recommend CachyOS. I made the switch about a year ago with no hassles or tinkering. I will say though when updating it is important to pay attention to any warnings and keep a backup with something like timeshift to rollback to in emergencies!

Since you have development as another use case I'd be more inclined to use a fresh install of something like fedora and customise it yourself. I'd imagine it's less likely to break a new install rather than a customised fork if you try to change something.

I am completely unfamiliar with the Canadian judicial system so I hope someone can help explain!

If 4 of the 5 players declined to testify, no matter the verdict, isn't that a lot of relevant testimony missing to reach verdict? Two thirds of the alleged parties involved had nothing to say. Considering the victim in this case was in the witness box for something like 9 days, it's a little confusing in my eyes to not even have them testify for 20 minutes.

I'm thinking about Charlie the Unicorn

I still believe cars like the Hummer EV shouldn't exist. It has an enormous pack, like 200kwh or something. That's enough battery for 3 long range cars, or in this example, dozens of e-bikes. All for a car that is impractical and excessively large.

Pro tip, don't have assets to begin with so you have no assets to hide.

I wish Alberta had less strict import rules especially for Canadian liquor. Seems like we get so little of any alcohol made outside of Alberta.

I'm impressed you got the text to be in some sort of focus

3 times total misidentified as a suspect. Even pinned to a wall with a police car?! Then he still wants to keep policing, like holy moly. I'd have honestly left after the first one. I can understand sticking around if it was incidents directly involving criminals but when it's the backup that's getting me, especially more than once, I'm calling it a day.

I thought this would've been the case almost 10 years ago. Especially when streaming wasn't littered with ads.

Spectacular, thank you. I bet the color on the red onions would be awesome after fermenting!

Did you measure out salt for just the weight of the onions and let their juices be the brine or did you measure water and onion together and salted based on that?

I've only ever fermented cabbage before the first way and bread is usually by the weight of the flour. So I'm still learning about other ferments!

Hey all, not sure if this is the right place but I figure someone here will be able to help.

Windows Defender found something called "Trojan:Win32/Ashify.J!frn" and failed to quarantine it apparently. This was earlier today that it was detected and it affected a strange file under AppData/Roaming/T2GP Launcher/Steam/Cache/Prod/GpuCache to a text file called "index" with some weird changelogs for a gameboy advance emulator.

No google results pointed to anything meaningful. Only a few posts suggesting the games launcher may have prompted a false positive, an old post about password protected files from 2022, and a malwarebytes warning from 2kgames spreading Red Line malware from 2022 as well.

Just checking to see if anyone knows anything or has experienced something similar before!

Any recommendations for an sport/activity tracking app? FOSS would be super but I'm open to all suggestions! I've been walking more and wondering just how far I've been going and at what pace.

Thanks in advance!

Hey folks,

I made the switch to Android from iOS and I am looking for an equivalent to the iTunes store for buying music! Is there a good option or am I sort of shoe horned into subscribing to a streaming service?

Edit: Thanks for all the replies everyone!

Hey folks! Just microwaved my heat pad a little too long and the cherry pits ended up burning slightly. It was only a small portion of the bag but the smell is stuck to me and taking over the house! Any idea how to tame it?

EDIT: Thanks for the replies everyone! I've had the windows open already but the vinegar was just placed so we'll see. Bowl eating and bag swallowing will be my next attempt if all else fails.

I passed this place here earlier and couldn't find any information about it online. It's the lot with the brick wall. Just wondering if one of you folks might have an idea of what it could be!
