in the uk a bricklayer's salary can be nearly £20 hourly, while a baker will be earning maybe £11.

as soon as someone works with food instantly their paycheck becomes like half the size of any other physical labourer. baking is a tough job physically with heavy weights, high temperatures, and antisocial hours, yet is paid at marginally above minimum wage. then if you're a chef the industry standard is absurd hours and no breaks for similarly low pay

so far of the scenarios i've run one went really well, one went badly, and the current one is going okay-ish. one thing i like about call of cthulhu is that the short scenarios mean that if one's going badly at least it's not going to be dragged out. can't say the same for if i was gonna run masks lmao. gonna run machine tractor station kharkov-37 next i think
