Design issue. The job of quality is to ensure that the item has been manufactured to meet all design criteria. A product with flaws in the design affecting the end user can still be made to high quality standards.

Marvin's got the Illudium Q36 Explosive Space Modulator, don't wanna fuck with that either.

When I was a kid my dad would take us to Halo Burger in the Flint, Michigan area once in a while. Haven't gone in decades, since I grew up and moved away from the state. Something about how the burger was seasoned, just delicious. Nowadays I usually stop by Culver's for a double deluxe, now that there's one not far from the house (did earlier today, actually).

I enjoyed playing this after it launched, great game with potential. My only complaint was the Ground Hog Day effect with monster spawns. You'd run into the same critters, in the same locations, over and over again. I figured the game was pretty new at the time, and hoped the devs would eventually randomize spawns to make it less monotonous. If they have, may need to start up a new game.

Fuck, that's amazing! That guy is pretty impressive.

Installing on the second drive (your Western Digital nvme drive) should leave Windows intact on the first drive. You'll have to go into Bios setup when you restart, then pick the WD drive to be prior to the drive with Windows on it in the boot order.

I would choose the Erase Disk option using your WD nvme drive. That should fully reformat the drive for use. I installed Kubuntu on an external ssd just over a week ago. Using it to run my desktop system, and liking it for the most part. Want to make a full switch if I can resolve a couple issues. Hope it goes well for you!

Have Orca installed, and it started up. Now I either have to figure out copying over all my configuration files, if that's an option, or rebuild everything manually. After tuning my printer settings and filaments over 2 years, would be a lot to redo.

It's running great now, played a couple hours this afternoon. Only problem I had was a connection loss with the game server once. That could be anything, not unusual. Otherwise runs really smoothly.

Put in for a replacement power pack on Friday. Just had to enter the order number from Amazon, and upload two pictures of the power pack including the model and serial number. Bought the recalled one in 2018, and it was still working fine when I charged and used it last month. Oh well, I'll drop it off for recycle next trip to the county waste facility.

I started the switch over last night. Installed Kubuntu on a spare external ssd. Got Steam installed, figured out how to select the drivers I needed for my nvidia gpu. Even got remote desktop access to the game server I'm running. Linux has amazing capabilities built in, I'm impressed. Took some work to get Enshrouded running on Steam this afternoon (probably not the best game to start off with, it's problematic) but after a good bit of trying different options it started up. If I can get Orca running for my 3d printer, there really isn't much I'm going to miss from Windows.

Flogging Molly. Was dating my wife when we first got to see them play, along with Gogol Bordello. Our first show together, she loved it. Decided I should keep her at that point. :) We've seen them 7 more times over the years.

So, found out the hard way that you can't apply heat to neodymium magnets. Had 16 magnets to press into a print (tool holder). Thought since the soldering pen I use for inserting threaded nuts into prints works so well, I would use it for this too. And it did work well, but now all the magnets are not magnets any more. Yup, heat will demagnetize them. Part is useless, so had to trash it. Found out something new, but wish I had heard about this beforehand.

Don Hertzfeldt's final student film, BILLY'S BALLOON was shot on 16mm at UC Santa Barbara in 1998. It was nominated for the Short Film Palm D'Or at the Canne...

There's nothing fun about 4:30 in the morning.

I love that having a 3d printer means you can create custom parts when you need them. I wanted a set of leveling brackets for a router table insert. Sketched up something in Solid Edge, sent it to the printer and a few hours later I have what I need. Nothing complex but functional. Used PETG on this set.

Probably the one thing they didn't plan on going wrong.

I was looking at the settings for Connect, hit "Save Settings" before closing, and now some of my phone's default colors have changed. I have lime green and mint for random text in different applications. Using a Google Pixel 7 Pro. Anyone else notice this?
