Where I find this behavior most infuriating is on walking/biking trails in the forest preserve. Like, seriously!?! I get the desire to listen to something while exercising or just having your "you" time, but when you're riding a bike that cost thousands, you can probably afford some bone conductors or at least ear buds that offer a hear through option. Hell, the expensive units refurbished on eBay get pretty damn cheap.

I'm 53 and have been questioning it for a few years. I just have to make that doctor's appointment to ask about it . That's my goal for next week. It was also my goal last week, last month, and the last couple years... one day/week at a time.

After my morning coffee everything sounds like a great idea, but it's too early in the morning to do anything about it because that window of time is designated peaceful quiet moment before I have to work. I'll just do it this afternoon after work...

As an American I had to look that up, and my heart just melted. Those are gorgeous pieces of art. The only thing is, I'm used to being able to throw mine from the stove top into the oven. I'm guessing with the wooden handles that's a no-go?

They make actual cat beds for desks!

My boyfriend had to install 2, our cats absolutely love them. One by the window, the other in proper petting position. They swap throughout the day lol.

Breakfast cups.

Muffin tin with non stick spray. Tear bread into pieces into cups.

Options - add diced ham, green onions, chopped cooked breakfast sausage, shredded cheese, cottage cheese, anything tasty.

Beat some eggs with a little milk, salt, pepper, and mostly fill the cups and bake.

Congrats! I fucking gagged.

I wonder if he applies his foundation with his hamberder bun, then eats it?

It can be both. Spray tan can wash off unevenly if you bathe, so make up evens out the finish.

Not that I'm assuming he showers that much, but I imagine he at least wipes the grease away from his mouth on occasion.

I regularly get temporary hair color to some of my hair (pinks or purples). Because they fade slightly with each wash, my goal is to only wash once a week in cold water to get the most bang for my buck. Days 1-3 no additional products needed, dry shampoo 4,5, (some hair pulled back/styled up) and days 6,7 I'll put my hair up. I still shower regularly, just put my hair up and cover it when I do. Depending on activity levels if I'm getting sweaty, I'll probably shorten it to a 5 day cycle.

According to the lady I go to she has plenty of women that have weekly hair appointments for a wash, blowout, and style that basically do the same (and no - they're not all "old ladies.")

Having volunteered at a church's food distribution for over 25 years, I can say that some food banks are pretty special with how they do things. We purchase food from a large food bank for distribution once a month. If the food bank has a lot of produce or something they haven't been able to move, sometimes they'll throw a pallet or two extra on the trailer when we pick it up, so that they can get rid of it. When we get the trailer, sometimes it's just a surprise what we end up with.

In general, we have some people that come that have extended families or neighbors that they give some of the surplus to. Then there's the church that were hosted at. There's some things that they're able to keep for the next day to offer to the parishioners. Beyond that, there's the occasional phone call to other churches to see if anybody could use it. In the end, the pastor knows a pig farmer where if we have a surplus of a surplus, some stuff will go to.

You can freeze them if you plan on cooking with them. I ended up with an obscene amount of tomatoes one year that were amazingly tasty and I was so sad that I couldn't process them before they went bad. My aunt told me to freeze them - it was perfect! They also make for great weapons when frozen, and when you thaw them the skins come right off!
