That sounds delightful! I hope you enjoy it to your fullest.
Drusas
I'll be making two different batches of French onion soup to see which version I like better. It's been a long time since I've felt up to doing a lot of cooking due to health issues, so I'm pretty excited. Already have some beef stock going to be ready for tomorrow.
Excuse my ignorance, but can you not just order things like vegetable rolls, avocado rolls, etc? The variety might be a little lacking, but sushi does not inherently have any animal products in it. Just seasoned rice and usually some seaweed.
Same. The house I was renting before buying this one had nice, big closets and two sheds. Now I have little bitty closets and no shed.
I don't know what's the most first world problem I've experienced, but the most recent was when I tried to use my roasting pan on my relatively new stove today and found that the roasting pan is not induction compatible.
So I put it in the Goodwill pile and ordered a fancy brand pan to replace it.
Poorly. I have multiple chronic health conditions which require a lot of medications/treatments and I really do not keep up with it all. I should especially be using my nebulizer and percussion vest (for lung clearance due to cystic fibrosis), but they're such a pain that I rarely do. And I should really stop drinking alcohol. And do physical therapy exercises, but I just can't be bothered anymore.
Calling it "essence" is fucking weird.
Cambozola cheese. Nearly vomited.
They also vaccinate their chickens against salmonella and don't wash them with chlorine in Japan, unlike in the US.
I remember the bean burrito (which is perfectly fine food, btw) being 89 cents. Now I get two and it's something like six bucks.
The Blue Angels didn't officially begin practice until today, but they were out for a short time yesterday afternoon. I'm directly in their flight path, so I can both hear and see them going overhead.
All of the natural parks have been forced to do this.
