I think it says something interesting that the American criticism of an American dictator put in place by corporatism is talking about that time America helped one its corporations conquer South American countries.

They had this same problem in the Soviet era, when part of the propaganda was about racist Americans were (true) and how good Marxists aren't (true, but what's that got to do with the average Russian?)

Long story short the African immigrants/students had a hell of a time even when the Soviet state was trying to turn them into a propaganda tool.

Tbf to the Soviets, even the article mentions that they DID try to keep a lid on things, and racial violence exploded after the collapse.
