I think indeed I have a bit bigger gauge, but i'm testing it now with the old string actually (Don't want to damage the new string by constantly putting it on and off etc).

A bigger gauge pulls harder on the headstock, pulling the neck up, you mean? But then I would think that the strings height would increase, not? I did see another comment mention the truss-rod aswell. Thought it was daunting indeed but some googling makes it seem kinda doable.

also, lol after seeing you edit, but yeah I believe the new strings are a bit bigger, but the effect seems to be from a weaker pull, like you said. but yeah that kinda confuses me :")

I don't have a feeling the pickups pull on them that much harder than the previous set, and it wouldn't pull it harder than what the bridge allows. Also this new one is already a bit lower. String i'm testing it with now is actually the one that was on it before, but it could indeed be that the new set has a slightly higher gauge. I started using the old string just to not damage the new one too much but putting it on, adjust stuff, taking it off etc etc etc

The truss rod is a very good recommendation, have heard of that but didn't think about adjusting that myself, but from what google shows it could be a cool solution. Thanks for the tip!

Good hiking shoes and some hiking pants. Especially the pants, got a set from the Decathlon for 40 bucks or so, light, airy, but not cold, extra pockets with zippers, zip-off bottom parts, elastic bands at the bottom. Use them for hiking but almost any activity that just requires a comfortable and efficient pant (actually it would work everywhere except at the office now that I think about it).

Plus one for airfryer. Bought one that was on discount a few years back, has a spot on top of the cabinet when not in use but it's almost always on the counter.

My god this is recognizable

Yeah for sure, it's prolly a while until it's developed into something feasible.

"So it could perhaps turn out useful or totally useless."

That's a realistic statement. Although the MRI thing sounds cool as well. I recall last year a big grant for a big 14T mRI project was awarded in the Netherlands, I wonder if this thing will make them reevaluate their plans. Before this becomes viable in such a setting I can imagine a lot more is needed, but it would be such a typical thing that they finish building a 14T MRI and then "hey guys we just finished this superconductor pipeline and stuff is much easier/better now!"

Oh yeah I think I saw a SciShow episode about this. It's in like one category beneat red meat and "a bad night's sleep", if I recall correctly?

Don't the current quantum computers also rely on superconducting materials that need to be kept sort cold?

Hm it so far happened at work and on my couch, and I don't wear wrist things, but good to keep in mind, thanks.

Yeah im afraid of the lid sensor being broken, prolly not an easy fix. Then I'll have to resort to changing the lid settings and manually sleeping i guess.

Oh and "5" was a typo lol, i probably had the laptop series on my mind.

Ah, cleaning the button is a good and practical idea, I'll give that a shot

And idd, worst case would be changing the settings, but I'm used to using lid for sleep, so if it's fixable that had my preference.

Not being a Facebook user and only seeing some mentions of FB/Meta in thread like this I can confirm I haven't heard of the Facebook Papers. It rings a bell about some privacy violation stuff, but not a big one.
