It's ok. I had TWO silicon power SSD die in 2 weeks and then the other a week later.
I was fine, because they were in Raid1 and as soon as one failed, I replaced it with a Samsung. As soon as the other failed, I replaced it with a WD.

This is why I do full disk encryption always. Throwing it out is much easier.

you don't just gift a nas you also gift the tech support for it, for ever

I have some old PC games that I kept of when I was younger. Games i REALLY loved, but realistically-speaking, I will most likely never play again.

(These are all pre-steam games)

Is it worth grabbing an ISO of the disc and keeping it just in case? Will an Win XP game play on Win11 (or newer) one day?

or is it a bin-and-forget?
