I had to cut down on the frequency of showers to keep my Yakubian hide from disintegrating.
Yeah it's hard to build longterm infrastructure in one year, given the priority of getting at least a temporary shelter up. Anything you build initially is gonna struggle to handle heavier traffic unless you repurpose the space somehow.

Also it looks like we have a lot of potential managers who are worried about their abilities. I'm willing to field questions if anyone has them but maybe we want some sort of organized way to help encourage the less confident future central planners? I dunno what a reasonable way to do that would be.
I've never done this before but I think I might be able to handle it, might need a briefing on how to handle the files correctly though.
Do you have embark information? You seem to be sure there's iron and such, I'd be curious to see what all the prospectors determined is in the area, aquifers and such.
Would you say corruption in modern China is worse than it was in the immediate aftermath of Deng's reforms? On what basis?
I can believe your friends experience corruption, but I'm not sure how to compare what you're saying to what existed before. The change over time would be a good way of knowing whether corruption is being reined in or not.

Not just you, I'm here but I'm not coming up with a ton to contribute. I feel like if I was a contemporary of Ricardo and the physiocrats or whatever I would be more interested in Karl dunking on them.
Yeah it's not really my place to tell anyone what they need to do, but I would be really worried about putting a ton of money into a big asset that can be pretty easily destroyed or outright seized by pigs because they think you look like you're up to something or just easy to pick on.
I mean if you think it would accomplish anything to just tell her how you disapprove and that would be the end of it I don't see any harm in saying so and moving on. It sounds like she's capable of downplaying this stuff in order to have a relationship with you.
If that wouldn't accomplish anything or would make you feel way worse I guess I'd not do it, personally. Knowing when there's no point is a judgment call in the end.
