Love to have my position determined by the range of other people's positions around me. Really saves me the effort of using my brain.
I was pumped for it last year, thought it would be out before Christmas.

It's a ten year relationship? Out of curiosity how have you been coping up until now? Surely this isn't a total out-of-the-blue surprise? If it wasn't a crisis before now then maybe your coping mechanisms are already good for handling the situation to some degree and just need tweaking.
I assume from what you've said that they're open to non-monogamy?

Jsyk if you owe money at tax time and you're a regular employee who gets a w2 you probably should try to get your withholding fixed. Odds are something is wrong with your w4 and what you told them to take out isn't accurate. If those forms are filled out properly you'll usually be close if not completely square when you file.

That said, this reading has been the most conceptually horrifying to me so far. I knew the terms we throw around, I knew roughly what alienation meant and surplus value and all that. But seeing the system broken down and revealed to be entirely surplus value, to be entirely stolen and then given back piecemeal so that part of the machinery can keep itself lubricated to come back tomorrow... Not a great feeling.
My favorite Israeli history tidbit is how their terror cells assassinated one of the guys trying to negotiate a peaceful way out of the violence creating the state of Israel caused because they were (wrongly, it turns out) afraid that the official government would try to take a peaceful solution to the conflict which might have jeopardized the creation of the ethnostate.

Read the danged article folks, it's just saying "a ceasefire would be good, they need to agree to our hostage deal to do that." They're not calling for a ceasefire unequivocally, it's a continuation of the Biden position from a new venue in the hope that it will, aesthetically, look like they're doing something.
At least until we see the resolution we should be careful about just granting Joe credit foe this.
Edit: That is the resolution, it's literally just the Biden-Israel line of "agree to our deal and we'll stop for 6 weeks" which they are peddling as if that amounts to a durable ceasefire.
Even if you're almost always indoors/work nights? I always lathered up multiple times when I worked outside or whenever I went anywhere to hang out in the sun, but maybe I need to add sunscreen to my daily routine of peering hatefully at the rays that intrude into my cave.
