I thought about buying about a thousand bitcoins when it would have costed me a hundred bucks. Never did though.

Solid contender for a Jabba the Hutt sentence again right here

It helps a lot that the assholes are not doing well. The Epstein thing has made it easier to breathe.

Going to protests helps too. The energy of the crowd really feels good and assures me that the people are on my side.

These days, most of the voices saying they'll leave a centrist presidential candidate hanging are fake. BlueSky got brigaded by fake posters with this message for about five days a little bit ago.

I voted for Jill Stein in 2016 and regret it. I don't think I'm the only one. I think that next time around, we'll have a stronger primary strategy and fewer walkouts if we fail.

The real battle is in the primaries.

Easier to just invade the primaries of the traditional party. I think a lot of our problems as a nation come from poor primary turnout.

The funding may be insane, but the boots are not having a good time. Doxxing and harassment seem to be working and the efforts must expand.

I have never, ever heard of someone calling for the deportation of Israelis. I think anyone who wants that was probably anti-semitic already and has taken the objectively horrific actions of the IDF as a reason to hate Jewish people in general.

I've been getting ludicrously short shelf life on some produce in the past year or so. Get a bag of carrots Thursday after work, there's mold by Saturday. I don't think that was common three years ago.

Windows keeps getting shittier, Linux keeps getting better and easier to use.

Eh, they took out every bit of democracy-breaking bullshit they possibly could without a majority as far as I know. They're trying now. I'm holding out a little hope that it won't make it through the house again, even.

Susan, please

The use-cases for which they're prohibitively bad aren't super uncommon, but they're pretty narrow. I just use mine to cart lumber and gear around, but got a chance to tow something big today. I figured pulling heavy shit up a steep hill and over this weird 10" lip to get into this barn would play to its strengths, and yeah, it did. Easy peasy.
