I'm not the biggest believer of JF1 but I still root for his success even though there's more historical data telling me otherwise. However, I believe strategically it's best to stay with him another year so that: 1. We get a generational WR that everyone agrees on (Caleb is definitely not a consensus generational QB) 2. We can also get a very good OT to build the line of our future 3. We will be definitely ready to support a young rookie QB if Fields can't step up.

Is there a defensive scheme that is able to counter current offenses? Maybe some kind of hybrid cover 3. But from my understanding it's just getting pressure and disguising looks. There's not one main defense that a DC can rely on to stop an offense all game.
A reminder that the Raiders skipped on Calvin "Megatron" Johnson, and draft JaMarcus Russell. An extremely high potential QB that was touted as having the best arm ever.
I agree. But I'm also okay with him leaving. Especially if we get MHJ in the draft. We can always pick up a cheaper third than Mooney and still probably get the same type of production.
Mooney will want #2 wr money.
I thought Jackson Powers-Johnson was the best rated. At least highest graded center in college coming in the draft this year.
I think the best center prospect in the draft this year is Jackson Powers-Johnson. He would probably go in the 2nd. But if he's there in the 3rd we should snag him.
I also liked when Olin was on there until I read about some of the anger issues the dude still has.
