It's because of people like @unicornmeat@lemy.lol who like to create alts, then just come in and serial downvote.

This is the actual message he sent me just now. It's not the first time he's done this, his account was created just 23 hours ago as of this posting. He's been creating alt accounts for the last several months in order to come here and downvote. lmao

Lemmy is totally de-centralized, so it's very easy to make as many alt accounts as you want to. That's your right. I'm cool with it.

But it's also my right to ban the alt accounts for serial downvoting and ban evasion. Especially if they are chronically obsessed with me. :)

If you feel you have banned in error, and really feel the need to be unbanned from a community you hate anyway, then feel free to direct message me.

They are only stopped from top secret info, and Epstein would only be top secret if he was working for a government. If it's just a criminal, republicans can stop democrats from digging into it. So let's see what happens. lol

Hmmm, maybe the democrats should start their own investigation. I'm fine with all the epstein files being made public. Nothing is "top secret," they should be able to look at stuff and release anything they want.

Of course, all the democratic names in the files would be publicized too. So....
