Someone finally implementing full replication / migration / domain virtualisation, that will. atm, there are other things more pressing for the dev team, though. (Anyone here who could fund such major development?)
Btw. i think more likely than big instances being abandoned by their owners (instead of transferring to a new owner), is them being taken down by some law enforcement or legal procedure. Liability costs can make any not-for-profit endeavour vulnerable to bad big player attack.

Aha that's a postgres default? I was looking into the code to see some of the DB structure. And i thought, well i made over 100 comments in 2 weeks so it wouldn't take too long until that 32-bit space is used up (in normal operation with some more users).

I did various things already. Upgraded to 35 yesterday, which made it crash. Today i uninstalled and re-installed older versions and the latest several times, tried different combinations of cache wiping and offline startup. ~~As i see it seems to work for other people, i'm a bit worried. Wanted to wait for the next update.~~
Edit: It works! It had to do with that old issue with Orbot in VPN mode. Android 11 ... some applications seem to expect VPN to be active and won't work until i turn TOR on and off. -- Written from Jerboa 0.0.35. :-)

For me, Jerboa just stopped working alltogether. 0.0.35 seems to crash no matter what i do. Even in airplane mode.
