Domains (and their lords) owning communities and user accounts speaks indeed some thing about the mindset of the system's makers, donnit?
@c0mplexx@feddit.de It's actually split into separate repos for back-end and front-end, the latter being https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues
and this is the Jerboa project: https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/issues
LOL
Sorry i like to edit my comments so much ...
OTOH, that cartoon shows a child/teenager vs. an adult. That considered, the adult should perhaps take a more sensitive and comforting approach.
Yup exactly. I would even go so far as to say that insisting on getting an apology when they had no intention of hurting is tyrannic. "You were insensitive and now i'm hurt. Now i have the right to make you feel the same way!" -- No, doesn't compute.
Well, there's a feature request for this, and a "custom tab" feature that is done makes it sort of half-way finished.

It's just a cultural norm in certain parts of the world, to be supposed to force-smile on photographs. Jst smile naturally, be as beautiful as a Mona Lisa.
... and by the way, not all cultures recognise a friendly face by how the mouth is grinning. The easterners tend to look at the eyes. That's why the old Japanese smileys (in ASCII or unicode characters before emojis were introduced) focus on the eyes, rather than only on the mouth. kaomoji (wikipedia) -- At least that's what i learned once. (^_^)
Yes absolutely! I have no diagnosis, and possibly it would be difficult to see, because common characteristics are not there. No ADS but an above-average awareness. I do understand most jokes (but find many not funny), and i'm very good with irony. Good motoric skills. No single special interest (but it constantly changes so that i know a bit about many things) etc.
I notice it changes. I also notice after my whole life had changed drastically that i got much more sensitive, and as i went half-hermit, those autistic traits became stronger. Others i learned to overcome -- i mean really, not masking. Eye contact for example, i just trained ituntil i had lost that anxiety. I have spent years watching my patterns. ๐
I think i'm above-typical in the spectrum, or more like part-time autistic. When i am, it can be debilitating, though.
That's why i make a distinction between neurodivergent and "autistic". Those are different aspects of my being.
Perhaps you can even snap out of it? https://lemmy.world/post/67226
English non-native here. what is "dapping"?
Wow! This i would call this sooo divergent. ๐ And interesting. Do you always see words in this way, i guess not because "uneven" is just a short word, it's easy to spot those features. So yes, this is a word that is an irony in itself. I like it!
This would fit into https://sh.itjust.works/c/neurodivergent ... would you mind if i perhaps mention your comment in some post about words?
