That's a recent change to Lemmy which only lets admins/mods see the removed content. If there was a setting to make this transparent, I'd make it so it was transparent. Hopefully this is a bug and not intentional, but I kind of doubt that.
Takes awhile to load sometimes. I'll pop them here for reference:

I had to moderate my first 2 comments today for violating our rules. We're moving on up!
We are one and the same.
Oh, I definitely agree with you there, I just found the image amusing.
If you're considering using one of these, here are the differences. If you want to get a standard search experience, I suggest using Burger's, his has a very standard config, probably closer to what most people are looking for.
Whereas my search engine is tailored to specifically favor lesser known smaller search engines like Wiby which have a high likelihood of having more niche sites show up which may or may not be relevant to your search result. You usually find what you're looking for, but there's definitely more of an old-school type feel when it comes to the results. Definitely not for everyone.
Both our search engines do not log searches, so nobody (not even us) can see what you're searching for, regardless of which one you pick. (Again, if you're deciding between the two.)
Sucks, because GrapheneOS seems like a genuinely good piece of software, and probably one of the most usable Android-based OSes out there. But I just can't go forward with it, knowing how the dev seems to repeatedly make more and more enemies. I do not feel like I can trust him for the software to remain as good as it currently is in future.
We're both degenerates to the point where I think we'd both enjoy a good whiff. xD
I would buy from the used bra vending machine.... 😳
Don't forget the waifu vending machine casually positioned right next to them.
Was kind of looking into something like this too: https://skysedge.com/unsmartphones/RUSP/index.html but I worry about potential compatibility issues with my area; however, I'd definitely be interested in it.
For transparency, here's the context you can imagine which removed comment goes where.
