From this patch onward, gliding will be performed using a glider rather than with Pals. Pals in the player's team will still provide passive buffs to gliding, but players will now need to have a glider in their inventory in order to glide.
I don't play this game, but it is a sad day when Nintendo bullies a game into making changes

Try switching the option back and forth? I've had to do this before and then it worked for me
Do people actually like the feature of it rendering an image of your eyes for other people on the outside? I feel like it's not worth the cost and weight and battery usage

I think the original games could really benefit from being widescreen (more field of view), and difficulty settings (increased health and breath), and probably analog controls could help too

Yea this sounds like preparing to make excuses and claim "no one was using it" (aka less than 1 billion users). I'm expecting it to be removed in 2026.
