Like the 2016 Doom onwards, the runs are technically outstanding, but there’s a lot of walking on invisible geometry with collision detection, or random tricks like railboosting in Doom that seems to break a game.

but the glitchless/etc runs of those Doom games on high difficulty are amazing, Doom Eternal is so fast it's basically a single-player e-sport

Any runs you’re looking forward to?

Castlevania games, Resident Evil games, Titanfall 2, Doom Dark Ages, Halo Reach (4 player co-op!), Mario Maker relay race, Mario 3, and of course the Silly Games block

But usually my favorite runs are the ones I don't expect

Vulkan devices that lack the required feature support to run DXVK will no longer be listed as DXGI / D3D9 adapters. This may fix crashes in case an outdated graphics driver or an unsupported integrated GPU are present on the system.

This sounds good, I think laptop users sometimes ran into this issue in Deus Ex Randomizer, since we pack in DXVK for Windows users (we check if they have Vulkan support first) to improve compatibility and performance. It's also a good way to automatically set a frame rate limit for the game, because our installer automatically creates the dxvk.conf file.

DXVK has been really amazing for Deus Ex on Windows (and obviously Linux too)

Terrifier, this is from the 2nd movie. Very gory series, not for the faint of heart

This was a great scene, probably my favorite scene in the series

old style forums. (I’m hoping those eventually join the Fediverse. But even if they don’t, they still have a place in my heart.)

Dance! Boogie!

FIRST EVER FULL GAME RTA COMPLETION OF ACE!!! This beats my standard Any% WR by over 12 seconds, which is absolutely crazy to think about. For those confused about the final time, I didn't know the loading times were removed between triggering ACE and the credits, so that's why I thought it was a 7:45. Only day 1 and 6th run to 8-4 on normal sub 8 pace and I clutched it out!

Huge shoutouts to Simplistic and others for initially discovering this ACE and making this all a reality. Huge shoutouts to threecreepio for being the one to initially motivate me to try out ACE RTA and for being incredibly helpful by making an ACE ROM hack and explaining to me what exactly is needed for ACE to work. Another huge shoutouts to LeKukie for helping me find and improve RTA viable setups for full game runs. Without them this wouldn't have been possible :)

Time with loads is 7:51.207
