Maybe last year is when the contract for the Switch 2 was signed and paid?
I could see it causing clashes for very specific communities, maybe those could be manually disabled cause I can only think of very few
or the comments could be grouped by multicommunities
merging them completely is bad yes, but the way PieFed does it is nice, they have separate headers for the comments from each community
I think maybe only subscribers should be allowed to downvote, but anyone should be able to upvote

that would require PieFed users to follow many many Mastodon users, that's the only way for Mastodon to alert PieFed about the posts

if you filter down into Vulkan GPUs, the 5090 is at 0.42%, 9070 at 0.18%, 9070 GRE at 0.02%, and I don't see the others... so yea it appears that the 5090 has more than the whole 9000 series combined
