Well not for us, but who are we to say that all life in the universe has to look like life here (although I do agree that it sounds unlikely)

You're already on lemm.ee which is the second largest instance on the fediverse and generally tries as much as possible not to defederate from anyone, even these tankie instances

As someone else pointed out when this article was posted yesterday, the legal system doesn't consider it theft, it's considered copyright infringement, though I suspect this doesn't change anyone's opinion on it

Obviously they know what they're doing nowadays, but in Minecraft's infancy - particularly when notch was solo developing - the game, at least as far as I remember, had a particularly bad case of spaghetti code that has survived the games entire life, even to today

I believe it. I'm just glad they kept the option to turn it all off

Bedrock has always run smoother than Java. That's just a result of the game being rewritten by more experienced coders and it being in c++. The only thing we can do with Java is mod it but you said you already tried that

Started playing through the Assassin's Creed series again but completely disabling the hud, even the minimap. I did have to open the big map frequently at the beginning but you get used to it and it just feels cool having to scope out/explore an area to find and get to your target and deal with guards as they come

I will say the first game feels like it was made to be played this way, but the second game (which I'm on now) and later unfortunately don't feel like that. Still gonna try to get through the whole series like this though

Idk proton ge just worked for me and I followed this guide to get content manager and all the other goodies working properly

Hank Green made a pretty good video on the topic. Basically, he's excited about the stuff Collosal is doing that surrounds this, but doesn't like the way they are marketing gray wolves that look like dire wolves as dire wolves

I can personally attest that assetto corsa works, and according to protondb iracing is the only sim that doesn't work. Automobilista 2 not only has a native port but also works under proton, and Lego racers (I'm assuming you're talking about Lego 2k drive?) works and has a platinum rating

As far as I know, no wheels are natively supported on Linux (running the windows driver in wine doesn't work) and we have to rely on community made drivers for ffb. It seems like your wheel does have community support, just follow the instructions and you should be good to go. You can also fine tune your wheel with Oversteer

Ha, get a load of this guy, he thinks wine is an emulator!
