It's really neat how many no_std I've seen popping up lately. I'm hoping stuff like Hermit takes off and we can finally stop worrying about Log4Shell or cURL.

I won't be recommending that anyone use Dart or Flutter on new projects.

You seem to think Google cares at all. Android has been languishing and Flutter is lightyears ahead. KMP is junk compared to what Flutter has accomplished with a fraction of the bells and whistles.

I just hate reading it. I wish it looked more like Kotlin and less like JavaScript 😭

It's weird, we tried having a small group of people control the flow of capital and it was unpopular each time. Let's try it again but call it something different or say it was something else when we tried it before.

Are there any windows programs you've had to set up through wine?

It would be nice if recruiters felt this way too...

I noticed this as well. I'm not sure why the migration wasn't a smooth process. Maybe the IP holders aren't watching their emails?

Can you elaborate on this? Who maintains the list and how does one end up on it?

I like the approach Jetbrains has taken with extension libs to add functionality that could've been in a bloated standard library.

No, i just don't want to see misinformation period. The reason the printer wasn't working is because they were on a managed printing plan, not because HP was trying to pull one over on them.

I just don't see the point in spreading misinformation. I have had almost entirely bad experiences with HP, but that doesn't mean I go around spreading lies.

I'm not glad that I keep seeing it. They were using managed printing i.e. pay-per-page. HP may make garbage and overcharge for ink, but I'm sick of people tapping the up arrow on low effort posts like this.
