To all those people screaming "Read Settlers!" at me: you may have had a point.

I'd say the DSA is LARPing as the CNT-FAI with all the disfunction and infighting, but we all know that 90% of the DSA don't deserve the honor of being compared to people who actually went out and shot fascists.
The immortal training guy is great for learning against swordsmen, but unfortunately it does nothing for figuring out spearmen, axedudes, or any other weapon wielder.
Just looking at this gives me a strong desire to press L2 and watch it transform into a steampunk chainsword.
I suppose It's really a people problem more than a system problem though. :/
No, it's a system problem. The worst abuses of power under communist regimes pale in comparison to the atrocities capitalist powers commit on a regular basis. Even if you took the Black Book of Communism at face value and assumed every bad thing that happened in the USSR or the PRC was the direct, intended result of the government it would not hold a candle to the British rule of India, the European colonization of the Americas, or the austerity-driven debt slavery of the global south under neocolonialism.
A few government officials taking bribes is not morally or logistically comparable to systematic chattel slavery or stealing the surplus labor value of billions.
The consensus I've usually heard is that the prosecutors were so busy enjoying their 15 minutes of fame from being on TV that they failed to secure the easiest slam dunk in court in history.
Don't forget waking up a month or two later and realizing that you no longer care about the subject you've been hyperfocusing on and now have no idea what to do with yourself until the next hyperfixation shows up.
I nearly had a heart attack until I read the word "ARM" at the end.
It seems like ARM Arch is doomed for whatever reason.
Either Trump is an existential threat that requires the strongest possible response, or he's just another corrupt asshole in a country dominated by others like him.
And before you go "but America doesn't do that sort of thing!", I'd encourage you to look up Fred Hampton.
Netflix pays crazy rates, but treat their employees as bad if not worse than Amazon. Last I heard the average tenure there is 12-18 months (granted, that's still a fuckload of money).
I won't complain about me making a living off of editing YAML files due to that.
