It's only entrapment if the suspect would not have engaged in the criminal activity without the outside influence from the LEO. An undercover cop making connections with drug dealers to aquire evidence isn't entrapment. An undercover cop blackmailing or otherwise causing you to sell drugs you had no interest in dealing in the first place is entrapment.

Propaganda does not have to have a hidden agenda. Literally the "I want you" uncle Sam poster is propaganda. That agenda was pretty obvious, there was no question who was behind it and it was pretty clear why it was commissioned in the first place.

There has been propaganda encouraging car-pooling, reusing materials, conserving electricity, promoting employment etc, and many of them even had credits as to who the message was coming from.

Propaganda is not inherently evil, but it's important to understand the context and where it's coming from.

Yes, but people who order a burger medium can still get sick. Not to mention heightened risk of cross contamination with ready to eat foods.

It's just safer to not use meat from a source known to have food-borne bacteria. Food safety is designed with many layers of protection, if you already know the first layer has failed, an unsafe source of food, then you're now counting on kitchen staff to protect you.

Not to say kitchen staff are inherenrly unreliable, but during a weekend dinner rush with low pay and high pressure, things can go wrong, so it's just best to take out food that is already a risk.

A lot of places even in the US give discounts to locals. And locals often pay taxes that help support these places. So really it makes sense that locals get a discount, or tourist get a surcharge. However you wanna call it.

American here. Would you care to explain to me how Israel can be compared to Nazis? My stupid brain can only understand Good guy vs bad guy movie tropes. Please give me a break.

I went to public school and can clearly see the comparison between a far-right Zionist Israel and Nazism without getting tripped up on the Jews being the largest target during the Holocaust. Not only that, but with the shrinking of Palestinian owned land and illegal Israeli Settlers I can also make the comparison to Manifest Destiny and the relocation of Native American people, even though Palestinians aren't Cherokee.

Attempting to expand Israeli lands for Israeli jews and pushing out Palestinians with no source of aid for those displaced, as well as blocking aid and giving extremely short timelines to escape the encroaching Frontlines very much falls in line with Nazi ideology.

The Nation of Islam and the American Nazi Party had common goals despite being mutually exclusive. I don't think it's that far of a stretch to compare Israel with the Nazis.

Girls go to HD 189733b to get a degree, boys go to Kepler 11b to get drunk on Hennessy?

It already is an option in certain states in the US and I think parts of Europe.

Close. He died on 4/30, he was born on 4/20. But there were many deaths at Columbine High School on 4/20/1999.

Yeah I'm going to have to agree. I'm an alcoholic myself and this is a problematic way of living with it. Moderation seldom works for alcoholics as it is and by putting your choice to drink on someone else's offerings seems to just be a way to escape any blame should it end in full relapse.

Everybody's journey is different though so I'm not going to judge. But at no point was I able to stop drinking until I straight stopped drinking. As they say "one drink is too much and a hundred isn't enough."

That's pretty much the year. Like they will have to cut off the data collection at some point. Because, well, when the wrapped Playlist comes out, you're probably going to listen to that Playlist a few times, to recap your year, which would drive more data for those songs.

I dunno, just seems like a silly thing to worry about. "Oh my gosh they only captured 11 months of my listening! How will I know that I went from Taylor Swift non-stop for 11 months and then nothing but Mayhem for all of December!!" It's a personal record of what you listened to throughout the year, and its kind of fun to see, but it has no actual bearing on your music taste. You still like what you like.

December can skew the wrap though. People will listen to more holiday music in December, they might use their spotify for Xmas parties, while wrapping presents, or just listen to it because 'tis the season. Suddenly Mariah Carey is contending for a top 10 artist and holiday music could be one of your top genres.

My buddy gave me a VHS camcorder and VCR for Christmas in like 2015. My favorite thing to do with them was to buy VHS movies from the thrift store and record home movies over them, but each time I would start to record I would randomly fast forward a minute or two. It was kinda cool and trippy to watch goofy shit we'd do and then it phases into a random scene from Edward Scissorhands before going back into the next adventure of ours.
