I had a professor who looked Chinese but spoke with an Indian accent. Similar story. Made sense he got into linguistics
Ah, forgot the wings connect to the legs along the sides of their bodies as well. Just browsed some anatomy drawings and can't find any bats where wings don't run all the way down their legs
