I have a questions about how these 3 features interact
My phone is always on silent mode, but I want my family to be able to reach me by call in emergencies. So I have their contact set as emergency bypass for calls only.
I also setup dnd (sleep focus) during nighttime and allow my favorite contacts to call me.
What I’m assuming happens is that my emergency bypass calls will ALWAYS go through and ring, but texts will vibrate due to silent mode. All other contacts are going to be SILENCED, both calls and texts.
In addition to this, if I have a contact that’s in my favorites but NOT emergency bypass, the calls will only VIBRATE if they call/text correct?
This is not actually important to the function of my phone, but just a curious thought. want to understand how these 3 features play and interact with each other.
