Not as of last night!
Goodbye LastPass (I'm aware I should have migrated already but I was holding out for this)
This was an acquisition (SimpleLogin) then having the acquired developers work on Proton Pass.
It still took up some resources but it's not like they took all their developers off the other projects.
I'm using it now. I admittedly haven't been on ios and using Apollo for close to 2 years now but this feels largely how I remember it.

Wouldn't the federation syncing process use much more resources across the network than 1 user browsing sometimes?
The problem with scale is going to be the database rather than the language / framework it's written in.
It's not a terrible strategy. Reddit can remove mods and reopen a subreddit but if you turn off automod, any extra moderation bots and let shit run wild then reddit has a problem.
Weaponize the assholes that mods usually have to deal with by giving them full reign.
Someone thought it was a great idea to port the Witcher to it..
