This book is a thriller written around 1965. About two thirds through the book a character shows up. He's was born rich and he's a spoiled idiot with questionable habits. Turns out he's a Russian asset who is happy to help destroy the system that gave him everything.
Of course, this is a work of fiction and shouldn't be treated as anything else.
