I recommend this book all the time. "Discover What You Are Best At." Linda Gail. I got it when I was about your age. It's a series of self tests you can finish in half a day, and then a list of jobs that use those skills. For example, a product demonstrator and a paramedic both need good social skills and good dexterity. Totally different jobs with a similar skill set.

I found that just taking the course was helpful, because I was interacting with the other students.

[off topic]

Reminds me of a science fiction story. A regular type guy happens to look like a big star. The star sues the regular guy for copywrite infringement

Two groups that love to say "Both sides are the same."

People on the Left who have given up hope.

People on the Right when they get caught being evil.

Nothing makes the Right happier than when someone on the Left says that there's no hope.

Look at NYC. The Dem candidate for Mayor is being threatened with deportation and arrest for being a Communist.

The fight isn't over until we give up.

Trump has said that his personality hasn't changed since first grade. He's on to the next shiny object...

The Right always votes for the GOP candidate, and the GOP candidate is the guy who wins the primaries. Most folks don't vote in the primaries, so the most extreme guy almost always wins.

Meanwhile, there are people on the Left who hate AOC because she hasn't pistol whipped Nancy Pelosi.

I lived in New York City on 9/11/2001.

The Village Voice was a weekly 'alternative' newspaper that covered politics, culture, and the arts.

The pot smoking hippies ran dozens of predictions of what would happen. that included two cartoons.

One showed Dubya as Mickey Mouse. the sorcerer's apprentice was chopping up a broom that looked like Sadam, and getting a million little brooms that looked like bin Ladn. The other was a buddy cop movie where Sadam and bin-Ladn are forced to work together, and eventually learn from each other
