I’ll buy something other than a ‘gas guzzler’ the second I’m not required to trade away my privacy to go electric, and can disable every single last beep, ding, screech and other unnecessary sound some stupid fuck thought was a good idea.

My favourite cars to own were made between 2003 to 2011. They’re so peaceful to drive compared to modern cars that constantly fucking screech and ding at you just for starting the damn thing.

How dare you make me start thinking about how to best connect my two rain water tanks to my house.

This will consume at least 5 minutes of good pondering time! I hope you’re happy

There’s nothing hateful about putting my family, community and country first.

Maybe more people would enjoy better living standards if they did the same.

It’s a tiny car, just get a few guys, remove the dog and flip the fucking thing

Edit: I can only assume the one hater doesn’t lift

You’re a naive fool.

I won’t be giving up anything so someone in a country I have zero responsibility for can have something they, their people and their government didn’t earn.

Their problem, they can fix it. Or not. I really don’t give a shit.

Never forget that Australian cops constantly ask for new powers with the express goal of turning Australia into a police state.

Police are always the first to throw in with the fascists because they are the fascists. You only need to look at how they treat climate protesters vs how they treat literal nazi protesters.

In that same period, Bartkus’ rhetoric on alternative social media sites was dark. “I would not acknowledge reproduction as a human right, but instead as a form of rape,” IndictEvolution wrote on Lemmy.World in July 2023. “I am also not bothered by infanticide as long as it is done humanely...”

TL;DR: Self-Driving Teslas Rear-End Motorcyclists, Killing at Least 5

Brevity is the spirit of wit, and I am just not that witty. This is a long article, here is the gist of it:

  • The NHTSA’s self-driving crash data reveals that Tesla’s self-driving technology is, by far, the most dangerous for motorcyclists, with five fatal crashes that we know of.
  • This issue is unique to Tesla. Other self-driving manufacturers have logged zero motorcycle fatalities with the NHTSA in the same time frame.
  • The crashes are overwhelmingly Teslas rear-ending motorcyclists.

Read our full analysis as we go case-by-case and connect the heavily redacted government data to news reports and police documents.

Oh, and read our thoughts about what this means for the robotaxi launch that is slated for Austin in less than 60 days.

These spiders make extremely strong and messy looking webs and are known for their painful bite.

Unfortunately I had to kill this one as they’re dangerous for children and my son is very curious about spiders.
