a subreddit called Change My View.

You post some opinion on something with as much detail as possible as to why you have that opinion and the commenters try to change your view in some way.

The rules are; the OP has to demonstrate they are open to changing their view in some way, the top level comments must be aimed at challenging the OP's view so you can't say you agree with it, and the overall discussion must be civil. The partial or complete view changes have to be certified with a delta, a kind of award unique to that subreddit. The OP or other users are required to reply to the comment which changed their view with a description of how their view changed and the command !delta, which awards a delta to the user who posted the parent comment.

It's common for fleet leasing but I haven't encountered widespread push for personal lease. It exists as a service but I don't know if I'd call it "pushed like mad".

Maybe I'm out of the loop though, especially globally. It's probably different from country to country.

Being pedantic won't save you here.

Everyone knows what I mean when I say libertarians.

If there was ever one political ideology generalized to being crypto advocates, it was "the US version" of libertarians, aka right leaning anarcho-capitalist types.

"The left" never advocated for crypto. There were (again US style) liberals here and there who liked the idea, and a lot of people like to equate them with leftists for some reason even though they are center right, but I digress.

The "true libertarians" as you said, also never advocated for crypto. Lib-left, never advocated for crypto. If I have to say it again: the left, in the original, global definition of the left, never advocated for crypto.

I think it's whispering "kill me" over and over, in a barely audible rasp.

That's why I always end my emails with "regards".

Crypto advocates always were libertarians. "The left" as a collective ideology were always against crypto since its inception.

You sound like you are deluded, don't know what you're talking about or both. I'll go with both.

I wasn't posting but I commented a lot. I can't say I had any anxiety regarding commenting.

I had 105k comment karma so I must've been used to it at least, right?

Coffee company can't be an issue. They are starbucks, not starbuck. The copyright issue could arise from the BSG franchise itself as not only is the character their IP, it's a direct reference to BSG because it makes sense only in that context.
