"How many soldiers' lives is the life of one gay man worth?"
"Seven."
Lol, I'm pretty sure I watched this when it went up 17 years ago, amazing memory.

Someone in the movie industry once told me that this is because movies are mastered for big theaters with massive speakers and THX Dolby 400.25.xqpiss MegaUltraπ+ Surround sound. Then they have to be remastered for the home when they make a DVD/Blu-ray/VHS/Laserdisc.
They used to remix it for 2-channel sound, which was totally fine, but then people started buying 5 or 7 or 11 and a half speaker setups because they wanted movie-like sound in the home for their big 17-inch black and white TVs. So movie studios had to remix it for both 2-channel and >2 channel sound. This cost money, which reduced the number of margaritas the executives could order on their Jamaican vacations, so they stopped doing that and only remixed it for people with home studio speaker setups. So if you're listening through the normal 2 speakers on a TV/monitor/phone/repurposed Ms. Pac-Man arcade cabinet, it gets compressed and all of the voices (which would normally come out of the center speaker) get split between the 2 speakers. This makes them sound very quiet relative to the car explosions. Hope that explanation makes some sense!
I was one of the few people I knew who was furious about him. I wasn't hoping he would fail ON the field, (because Browns) but I thought he probably would. Not particularly glad, but it is also a pretty ignominious chapter of the team. I tried to cheer for the defense as much as possible
As a former Ohioan, it is a lovely place to visit. Visit.
I'm a Browns fan, and wholeheartedly agree. Idiotic blind optimism, even when the team does stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid,...*checks notes...stupid things.
The sleeper must awacum!
...sorry

We really should come up with a title for people who held a formal title but are pieces of shit. Or maybe just make it relevant, e.g. Convicted Felon and Twice-Impeached President Donald Trump, Disgraced Murderous Coward Adolph Hitler, Dictator And Dickbag Vladimir Putin, etc.
I had an old school friend I visited in Chicago, and her apartment had a locked door in her bedroom against the back wall, and her landlord had just said "it's not used, just ignore it." It didn't even have a doorknob, so she had just ignored it for like 3 years. The building had been there for like 100 years.
Naturally, after some alcohol, I convinced her I could lockpick it, and we pushed her bed to the side and I spent about ten drunken minutes picking the deadbolt. We finally got it open, and discovered it was a straight-up small elevator! None of the lights or buttons worked, and we were worried about it falling, so we got out of there.
To this day, I'm not sure if it was an old building elevator for residents and her room had been a hallway, or if it was some kind of (very small) service elevator, or something for the ADA (handicapped requirements). But it was absolutely fascinating.
Interesting that we both dislike Rogue One, but I also don't like anything else recent. That being said, I'm always down for some Penn and Teller, those guys are great
Very "if we pay our workers a living wage, we'll go out of business!!!" vibes.
I was a huge Star Wars fan before Disney took over, and haven't liked anything they've done with it. Most people agree, with 2 exceptions: Andor, which I admittedly haven't watched yet, and...Rogue One
I don't think Rogue One is much better than the other Disney Star Wars drivel, but I'm apparently the only person in the universe who thinks that. I've watched it three times and just don't get why people think it's good.
My Very Educated Mother's Cousin Just Served Us Nine Outstanding Pizzas - (Somehow,) Her Quiche Might Get Officially Surpassed
Now, you only have to remember that Makemake and Orcus are in the Kuiper belt (past Neptune's orbit), and that maybe that Salacia is optional, and you can puzzle out the two repeated letters.
I spent too long on this.
