Or cash, as if you buy gift cards and they go bust, they owe you money, but you'll be well down the list and never see it again.

A few lyrics from NoFX come to mind.

"Kick back, watch it crumble See the drowning Watch the fall I feel just terrible about it That's sarcasm, let it burn"

"Where did all their money go?

Don't we all know? Parasitic [gaming] industry As it destroys itself We'll show them how it's supposed to be"

"Dinosaurs will slowly die And I do believe no one will cry I'm just fucking glad I'm gonna be There to watch the fall

Pre-Historic [gaming] industry Three feet in La Brea tar Extinction never felt so good"

Switch a few words and it works perfectly well.

Gamers need to realise it's all about the indies. Buy indie, screw AAA. Watch them grow and hire those talented folk that deserve better than this bullshit.

Probably just process. They'll send an updated fob off letter. Right wing gov that represents business, not people.

Do you really need to make a case? Does your company not trust devs? Is there people leading that have no idea about technology? SVN is dead. Many devs won't touch it. It's best way to say to new candidates your company is backwards. Many would refuse to work in a company that uses a version control system that has been dead 7 years.

So you created an echo chamber more familiar to what you know? I get lemmygrad and hexbear isn't for everyone but don't see a reason to ban. Lemmy.ml existed before the influx so has a mix and shouldn't be generalised.

No, but touring does and a bigger market for ticket sales is the best profit an artist can get.

They don't discount often because they make great games that people go for.

Games discount to push sales, and high demand doesn't need regular pushing.

Other developers should copy RimWorld and Factorio and make great games.

Sorry, no issues... Manjaro?

I cannot visualize 6 months without it breaking on update.

Ignore those that don't agree with your plans. Never let folk impose their morality on you.

You want to go to college? What do you want to study?

Life can throw you some bad cards all at once at times. Solving those little problems can make it less overwhelming and more manageable.

Attraction is a subjective thing. You build a life you're happy and confident in and people will find that attractive. Looking at your picture, I would be amazed if you didn't find someone attracted to you. Be patient, it'll come.

The hormones has been pointed out as possibly having an impact. Maybe give yourself a few months break to see how you feel, then go again. I'm not advocating stopping or quitting, just a pause to tackle a few other life issues before going on with your journey. Life is a marathon and not a sprint and sometimes a rest helps get through that next bit.

Also, sometimes anti-depressants can help at the lowest times. Worth considering. Counselling could be better if it's something you can get access to.

Because it does the things well gamers want. They want to play together, and talk together (voice chat), and stream showing them bossing or doing something IG. It does those things very well. If matrix gets seemless voice calling and video/screensharing at the click of the button, they would find it easier to make inroads.

It also has sensible defaults for managing users etc. and it's effortless.

It's not about features, it's just about getting the basics right.

It depends on whether you rent or own. You rent a flat and you cannot do what you want. Unfortunately, with games, most law is set up so you rent them and are buying a licence to play them within the conditions set out. It sucks, but that is how it is set up.

Matrix is the best choice we have. Embrace it or make better because we can only use what is out there.
