If i havent confirmed if someone is dead or alive essentially they live forever until I figure that out. So, time is dilated. It could be another 20 years and I could keep on thinking that one old person is still just as old and just as alive as when I last saw them, until I confirm they're dead. So, why would I? They live forever in my heart because I'm never gonna check. Congratulations, I've made you immortal!

Ga Ming is the Yue / Cantonese pronounciation for his CN name, which would be pronounced Jia Ming in Mandarin. Lion Dance is a commonly celebrated cultural artform in the Chinese South, where Yue/Cantonese is predominantly spoken. This is why his name is not getting Anglicised as Jiaming. My personal guess is that we're getting another banger cultural export cutscene, same way Yunjin has Divine Damsel of Devastation celebrating Chinese Opera.
