This also means the amount of emissions per user will go down the more users they get. It’s not very fair to compare something new to something that’s been around for decades in something that is based solely on the amount of users they have. I hate starlink, but this report is trash.
ChatGPT took down its Internet search to implement a robots.txt rule it would obey and allow content providers time to add it to their lists. This was done because they were being used to get around paywalls. So it’s actually very easy for them to do this for ChatGPT, specifically, which makes articles like this ridiculous.

I forget the name of the service, but this is exactly how a popular ai chatbot came around. Somebody wanted to talk to a friend who had died and they made a bot using messages they’d sent and then spun it up into a generic bot service that a lot of people use as fake boyfriend/girlfriend AI

This keeps getting posted and I’m not sure what people expect Apple do to. Do they genuinely expect Apple to bow out of the largest market on the planet? People are ridiculous if they think any company wouldn’t bow to China to keep selling there.
How long in the past are you talking? Ring cameras are basically just cheap CCTV cameras which have been around for an incredibly long time. You’re complaining you can’t walk in front of people’s houses without being recorded I guess, but how long have you been complaining about not being able to walk past your gas station or Walmart?
It’s a larger scale, but honestly private property deserves the protection more.
Amazon sucks though, ubiquiti is where it’s at.
