Let's play along here for a moment. Let's say it wasn't classified.
The question remains: why wasn't military action that was imminent classified? If the Yemen military generals were invited to the chat, would they have been okay?
I mean, we all know why they are saying that it was unclassified.
But the question I want answered is why this excuse?
There might be very niche communities but Lemmy has grown so much in the last year. I would encourage you to search for whatever community you are looking for. You might not find the exact equivalent but you might find a good match.
For example, there may be a /r/3dprinteddildos on reddit but that won't exist here. But I am sure that the 3D community here can point you in the right direction.
Keep in mind how subreddit often got created: when the general community doesn't provide enough content for your niche, the niche community is developed.
/r/gonewild is a great example of this. It went from amateur porn to a cestpool of only fans content. Other subreddits were created to continue the way.
It's the same thing here: find a community that's close and post.
This idiot
Sadly, mass shootings are so common place that they don't make national news much anymore. They are usually covered at the local level so it is much harder to track nationally.
I'd really like someone to ask Trump why he won't annex Russia. It has more land than Greenland, and has more natural resources. If he did, he could stop the war with Ukraine overnight.
That's a rather sharp butt plug.
STOP GOING TO REDDIT!!!!
I can't believe how often I have to say this.
The biggest issue people face when switching to Linux is finding Linux alternatives to their apps.
At this point it's much easier than it was in the 90s
That said, games can still cause issues.
Under normal administrations I would agree with you. But we are in end-times fascism bullshit.
Elon literally has his hands on the very department that prints government checks. He can, without any approval, write a check to himself.
We clearly have different rules for different levels of government.
Hate on Hilary all you want: storing classified material on a personal server would have gotten any other government civilian thrown in jail. Using one personal phone for government work would have also gotten you thrown in jail.
Same with Trump and Biden.
It doesn't help things that these assholes knew full well what they were doing and didn't want to follow existing procedures. And they likely won't get charged or punished for it.
