Except that's exactly what they think.

Heavy? You keep saying that. Does something happen to earth's gravitational pull in your future?

"Resistance is futile."

"...I mean......will I get disciplined?"

Only that the "let's" is referring to only Democrats. Republican/alt-right people will continue to use violent rhetoric.

Hillary, much like Trump, is a symptom of what is wrong with the Democrats. "It was her turn" spat in the face of people who were excited about a progressive candidate and made the whole primary a sham.

She was a terrible candidate. She was a bitter pill that many independents said "enough is enough" and voted third party or not voted at all.

I am deeply concerned that as the Republicans move more toward fascism, the left are not going to have great candidates. We're going to get established, wealthy-class friendly candidates who are willing to throw crumbs at the working class. They'll bitch and moan about how they are losing voters, never looking at themselves, never realizing that we are literally voting to just survive.

This election will be just like 2020. We aren't voting for Biden. We're voting against fascism.

And I'm personally getting fucking tired of Democrats seeing that as a win.

Didn't Musk tell his advertisers to leave the platform if they didn't like Twitter anymore? Wouldn't that alone make any tort dead upon filing?

Yeah it ties up a few billable hours but we're not exactly talking about companies that can't afford it.

I just listened to The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart where they discussed the viability of Biden's campaign.

The Democrats have the unfortunate condition of being, you know, sane. We have no issue of challenging the status quo, asking for a change.

I have yet to hear from anyone of significance say Trump should suspend his campaign for any of the same reasons that Democrats have for Biden. The GOP have already begun the "fall in line" stage and the fucker hasn't even been formally nominated. He's the "presumptive nominee."

The funny thing is that the GOP could, quite literally, put in anyone at this point. Any fascist asshole (e.g. DeSantos, MTG, Boebert, etc.) and their base will come out to vote for them.

If Biden gets to the convention and gets nominated, then yes, we MUST coalesce around him and campaign for him because the alternative is FAR worse. Make no mistake: this is an absolutely shit hand we the voters have been dealt. But one party is determined to shit on the table and make you eat it or jail you if you don't.

Which, unfortunately, just feeds into their narrative that conservatives are unfairly being targeted.

I can't remember the bill but a Democrat had introduced some bill about Nazis or something like that and it was shot down by the GOP controlled congress because, and I believe the quote was, "This would unfairly target republicans".

Talk about telling on yourself.

I've always heard it as "Cut off your own nose to spit in someone's face".

Basically it means you are willing to hurt yourself just to be able to make your enemy miserable.

The funny thing is that NOAA and NWS are part of the Department of Commerce, the department that directly works with businesses to ensure that goods and services can plan for the weather. They track ocean currents, wind patterns, and yes temperature changes.

The accuracy of their models have become so good that we have pretty darn good forecasting now.

All so that Walmart can buy shovels in time for the next snow storm.

Yet they want to do a way with the agency because climate change is now a woke issue.

Talk about biting off your nose to spit at your opponent.

I believe this to be the motives behind most mass shootings. They know they are going to die.

It's about getting their name printed on newspapers, shown in the news, talked about for a few days before the cycle repeats.

We would be better served if the news simply referred to the shooter as "an assailant" and never say their names.

I imagine the IRS is going after millionaires for the same reason it goes after poor and lower middle class people: they lack the resources to mount a defense.

Billionaires have enough money that they could stall indefinitely. Or at least until they can fund a president that will just pardon them.

The only cure for billionaires is the guillotine.
