I like perverted better in this case

I don't think it's the heating up from milk that gets these people. It's the mandate that it must be done.

Same with masks. They want the FrEeDoM to do whatever the fuck they want, even if it hurts someone else.

Said with pity.

Nothing borderline about it. It is sexual harassment.

Coming from a man who has settled several claims of sexual harassment, has children with various people who have reported to him.

My company is better than most I've worked for. They tell you, upfront, anything on their equipment can be monitored for any reason with no warning.

But then, as part of the HR and acceptable use policy, no one will monitor your activities without just cause and investigation. Meaning in practice, "We're not going to look over your shoulder while you watch YouTube videos but if we notice you're watching a lot of or you start visiting porn sites, we're going to start monitoring you."

Now all that said, I still assume that my company knows every key I type on their laptop.

People are being lied to and then they tie it to ~~ego~~ preexisting prejudices

Whether it's racism, sexism, transphobia....it's lies that are easy to believe because it feels true.

I agree with this. Self-hosting requires the user to understand their network, their software, how it all interacts.

If you provide a hardware product and call it a solution, people are going to expect a turn-key solution like a plug-and-play router.

You're going to end up supporting a bunch of newbies who, by no fault of their own, can't tell you an error code in the console let alone whatever UI you give them.

I think a better solution would be a course that walks newbies through self hosting.

I don't want an AI chatbot in the sidebar, but if it gives Mozilla a new, substantial source of revenue outside the Google search deal--and I can ~~disable it~~ enable it if I want to --then I'm all for it.

It's from 2016...I would have been surprised if it still worked.

I would agree that ublock is good but I have pihole so even on chrome I don't see ads. It's part of the reason why I still haven't moved. If I didn't have pihole I'd probably already have made the move.

I hate to say it but me too.

Chrome is my daily driver. Firefox Mobile needs major features that only exist in chrome for now.

Tab grouping is the biggest one. But if I could have multiple profiles on Firefox like I can on desktop I'd move today.
