I don't have a problem with the death penalty as a concept.

I have a problem with the fact that it disproportionately is given to people of color where evidence is dubious and circumstantial.

Treason and sedition should still be capital crimes.

It's weird. Like, this is the kind of lie that is so easily disprovable. Like ask anyone who was there.

But his followers won't. And even if they did, they'll just accuse them of being trans and dismiss it.

These people could have been at the debate, knowing full well that there wasn't an audience, and they'll convince themselves that they were wrong and Trump is right.

I've done FOIA requests before and they are a headache. I think I'm going to reach out to the Washington Post and see if they have someone who can look into it.

It bothers me that no one followed up. Typically this is a Washington Post story in the Sunday section.

I may send them an email.

Yeah, though if any asshole was going to buck tradition, it was going to be Trump.

They are considered official documents so they are subject to FOIA requests. Presidents often release them as a way to show the transition of power. And since Trump refused to even attend the swearing in ceremony....

I'm sure some of these deaths are kids that couldn't get vaccinated (immunocompromised, allergy to eggs, etc.).

But the majority...yeah, parents killing their children because they believed a Facebook post over their doctor.

Very Jeremy Jamms energy.

There is something about "two weeks" that the Republicans have figured out....

  • Trump's Obamacare replacement
  • George Santos saying he'll release his "Jew-ish" ancestry

I'm sure there are others.

There is a mayor that came out against Trump early in the election, I think even before Biden dropped out.

I am not aware of any Republican who are running for an elected office who have come out against Trump.

I think in the beginning he was testing the waters to see what he could get away with. He got more brazen as he got to the end of his term.
